In time, the leaders of the fellowship graduated and the impact was clearly felt as ICF quickly reduced in number. Fortunately, the remaining four members did not lose heart nor faith in their Everlasting God. Through immense help from ICC Toronto, ICF survived and slowly regained its momentum. Learning from past devastation, the leaders of ICF realized the need to form a church and receive guidance from a parent church. Thus, in April 4, 1999, by the grace of God, Indonesian Christian Fellowship (ICF) Ann Arbor became Indonesian Christian Church (ICC) Ann Arbor, under the supervision of ICC Canada.
As the church grew, its circle of congregation also grew. In an effort to reach out to the Indonesian community outside of Ann Arbor, ICC-AA moved its weekly service location from Trotter House in Ann Arbor to the First Baptist Church in Plymouth in the winter of 2003. The move enabled ICC-AA to cater to college students, young professionals and families outside Ann Arbor, hence ICC-AA became known as ICC Michigan.
A couple of years later, realizing the need for children Sunday School, ICC Michigan then moved again to its current location at Living Word Church in Plymouth in the summer of 2005. Due to the growth of Living Word Church, Indonesian Christian Church moved a new location at Trinity Presbyterian Church at Plymouth, MI. It is only by God's grace that ICC Michigan can utilize Trinity Presbyterian Church as its place to worship and is still meeting regularly now to bring an impact to the Indonesian community in Michigan. So let His will be done and His Kingdom come in this earth as it is in Heaven.
